In June, Sahar and Brian got married in a traditional, Muslim ceremony called the Nikkah. The bride's family hosted a reception, the Shaadi, to celebrate their union. In Pakistani tradition, after the Shaadi comes the Walima, a reception hosted by the groom's family. The Walima will be held outdoors on a farm where the newlyweds will exchange their vows and dance the night away. We hope you can join in the celebrations!
