We met in 2012 after becoming classmates in Señot’s Chamorro bilingual class.

We almost went to the military ball together “as friends,” but one of Natalia’s girlfriends ended up becoming Natalia’s date so we didn’t pull through with it.

Natalia started having a crush on Brian after her high school bestie Chrystalle, said he should be nominated for “Most Transformed.”

Natalia would message Brian about school work even though she had several friends in the same classes just to start convos with him.

Brian stopped talking to Natalia for a week and she got scared thinking that he found out she liked him when in actuality, she had offended him about something. He ended up apologizing for avoiding her on her birthday and bought her a cinnamon roll + coffee to make up for it.

Brian would give Natalia rides to their nursing assistant shifts in high school because her family didn’t have a car at the time.

Brian messaged Natalia to apologize because he thought that Vynz and Zion (PE classmates) were referring to Natalia as “the bixtch,” when it was about another classmate. Natalia cried. Brian called her beautiful and kind. It all worked out.

Our trip to Barcelona was our very first vacation together. 10/10 recommend - super fun!

When we started dating, it was almost the end of senior year and Natalia got worried about what that meant for the relationship. She started crying and Brian ended up showing her this Extra gum commercial (linking below so you can watch) and said, “this is going to be us.” Can’t Help Falling in Love ended up becoming our theme song since then and that video still gives all the feels today. During their senior prom, Brian and Natalia were the very first ones (with encouragement from Brian’s best friend Vynz) to enter the dance floor for a slow dance. The song that played was Perfect by Ed Sheeran.
