Where is the wedding?
Answer
Brian and Miranda are getting married in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, located about an hour south of Cancun. They booked a venue called Blue Venado Seaside, about 20 minutes away from downtown Playa Del Carmen, and plan on arranging a transportation service to and from the venue.

How do I get to Playa Del Carmen?
Answer
You'll fly into Cancun International Airport, Playa Del Carmen is about an hour away. You'll want to arrange transportation to and from in advance, we recommend Cancun International Airport Transportation, Happy Shuttle, or arranging through the hotel. It is much more expensive to get transportation same day on arrival.

Are kids welcome to the wedding?

Absolutely! Playa Del Carmen is also a very family friendly destination, with lots of activities for kids like the Xcaret parks, snorkel tours and more!

Where should I stay?
Answer
The bride and groom will be getting a room block at The Fives Downtown Hotel & Residences. It is recommended to stay here, as transportation to and from the venue will be provided from there. You can Book your room by clicking on the Travel Tab and Following the link to our Room Block

Do I have to stay in the room block?
Answer
No, Playa Del Carmen has several different accommodation options, from studio Airbnb's, to luxury all inclusive resorts. Traveling in a group? Maybe rent a condo on Airbnb. Looking to relax and be pampered? Browse through some of the gorgeous resorts nearby. Playa Del Carmen is a very walkable location, consider staying near the hotel block to take advantage of the transportation service. If you fall in love with a location a little further away, don't worry, it is very easy to arrange a taxi through the concierge at your hotel.

How long should I stay?
Answer
As long as you'd like! Stay for a full week, or make it a short Thursday - Sunday. The bride and groom will provide their travel itinerary and you can join them as you please.

We recommend booking your flight and accommodations 4-6 months in advance.

What if I can't go?
Answer
We understand that traveling to Mexico may not be possible for everyone, and there are no hard feelings whatsoever to those who cannot make it. There will be a small celebration in the summer of 2025 for those who cannot attend. We ask that you communicate with the bride and groom promptly regarding your plans.

When will RSVP's be due?
Answer
The bride and room kindly ask that once sent, you RSVP as soon as possible, RSVPs will be due December 2024.

What should I bring?
Answer
Playa Del Carmen's average temperature in February is between 69°F - 82°F. Pack light and cool clothing, sunscreen, swimsuits and sunglasses. The wedding will be held at a beachfront venue in the afternoon, and the party will go well into the evening.
