Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please refer to the "Movement and Lodging" page for information on the Courtyard Marriott and Hampton Inn, where we have a block of rooms. If you prefer a different hotel, there are about a dozen others in the area!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available at Cantigny Park. You will not have to pay the $5 parking fee to enter, just let the gate attendant know you are there for the "Spitz-Scott Wedding".

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will have shuttles from the Embassy Suites to Cantigny Park, and back. We will have additional information on shuttle times as we get closer to the big day.

What should I Wear?

Answer

While we hope to have perfect weather for our wedding, you never know what can happen. The ceremony is planned to be outdoors unless there are thunderstorms, torrential downpour, blizzard-like conditions, or any significant natural disaster. So come prepared!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

While the ceremony begins at 1700 (5pm), we highly recommend coming early so that you can walk through the gardens and enjoy the Park.
