Question
What do I wear?
Answer
It will be probably pretty warm outside, but that being said last year is was in the 50's and raining. Plan for something casual cocktail that's comfortable for spring/summer weather. The wedding and reception will be outside so wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket or sweater in case. Heels are greatly discouraged.

Will there be food?
Answer
Yes! Local barbeque with vegetarian options. Please let us know when you RSVP if you have other dietary restrictions and we will make sure there is something for you!

Will there be booze?
Answer
We will be providing wine, local craft beer, and a seltzer option. There will also be lemonade, iced tea, and water. No hard liquor will be served at the wedding.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We have addressed our invitations to the adults only. If you have a young child or arranging for care with travelling is too much of a burden, please reach out as we would love you and your family to be able to celebrate the day with us.

What about Covid?
Answer
We, along with many of our friends and family, have been vaccinated and boostered as soon as the vaccine became available. We encourage everyone to get your vaccine and booster before joining us. The wedding and reception will be outdoors with lots of open air. Our rehearsal dinner will be inside the manor house and limited to 60 people total. If you have concerns and there is something we can do to make you feel more comfortable, please let us know. The state of Virginia does not plan to limit gatherings any further.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm and it is a bit of a walk to the ceremony site from the parking area. Golf carts acting as shuttles will be provided, with the help of our groomsmen and family, to and from the parking lot, if needed. The ceremony will be down by the hill by the water (weather permitting). Plan to park no later than 3:45pm.

Answer
The main parking lot is on Jericho Road next to the Manor house on the grass. Golf carts acting as shuttles will be provided, with the help of our groomsmen, to and from the parking lot, if needed. The ceremony will be down by the hill by the water (weather permitting).

How do I get there?
Answer
Use the address 301 Jericho Road Smithfield, VA 23430. Fun fact, Windsor Castle Park is NOT in Windsor. If you search for the park on Google Maps, it will bring you to the other end of the park and you can drive through. 301 Jericho Road is the more direct address that will bring your right to parking at The Manor House on the grass.
