Meet the people who made us who we are, and will stand beside us on our special day.

Gregory Dias

Bridesman

Greg is the long-time best friend of his big sister, Katherine. Two years younger than the bride, he and his sister share the majority of their childhood memories, favorite Disney movies, inside jokes, video games, and preference in snacks. Though you'll rarely see him smiling in photographs, he possesses many hidden talents for sound effects and funny faces that have kept Kate laughing for 28 years. Though it is 90% fun and games, he has over time also become her financial advisor and the voice of patience and reason. She insisted that he stand beside her for this day, as he has done every day since he was born.

Stephen Dias

Bridesman

Stephen is the littlest brother (although not so little anymore--Kate is frequently mistaken for the youngest, being that she is the shortest), and his sister Katherine still remembers the day that their father picked them up from the gymnasium after school and took them to see their new baby brother. Eight year old Katherine was eager to be a big sister (again... but this time, she was no longer a baby herself, making this NEW baby that much more special), and spent a lot of time holding her "little Ste" and smothering him with (perhaps unwanted) attention. The more emotionally-driven and impulsive of the three siblings, Stephen and Katherine share the steadfast, but occasionally fiery, temper of love and loyalty that are a cornerstone of this Ohana.

Annie Slemon

Bridesmaid

Katherine and Annie were just 9 or 10 when their families were living in the same apartment complex in Guilderland, NY (Annie lived upstairs). Once acquainted, they immediately bonded over their love of Pokemon, and seamlessly integrated into one another's families. Katherine was heartbroken when, at 13, Annie's family moved away to Massachusetts. The parents quickly devised a way to keep the girls together, as their sweet friendship had made a lasting impression on everyone. From time to time, the parents would meet halfway, at a rest stop on the Mass Turnpike, and hand off their daughter so that she could be reunited with her best friend. Though they now live on opposite coasts, they are no strangers to making a long-distance friendship work, and will continue to do so for all time.

Melissa Duggan

Bridesmaid

As forever friendships go, Melissa and Kate's is relatively new. In fact, both girls were bridesmaids at Miriam's wedding, but had never met before. Melissa asked if Kate would mind carpooling to the wedding, and the rest is history. Melissa brings sunshine and class wherever she goes, and this friendship (and this wedding!) is no exception. Melissa delights in raising other women up, helping her girls to reach their full potential, and hosting parties whenever possible.

Kimbia Arno

Bridesmaid

If the groom is Sherlock Holmes, and the bride is his faithful Watson, then Kimbia is Mary Morstan. She remains steadfast in her support of their relationship, however often it may test Watson's patience, and consistently provides valuable insight in service of maintaining the peace. Their shared history of writing together provides the basis for a relationship in which communication comes naturally, and they make good use of this skill. It is important that Kimbia stands beside Kate in her marriage to Brian, as she has been so instructive in Kate's learning to be a good partner to him.

Calli O’Keefe

Bridesmaid

Calli (pictured reluctantly accepting affection from bride) and Kate go way back. Through love and loss, their friendship has remained the same, transcending blood relations and the drama that can accompany them. She has been by Kate’s side through every meaningful relationship she has had and this one is no exception— she is basically a sister. We are blessed to have her with us for our special day!

Alyssa Cohorn

Bridesmaid

Alyssa lived with the bride on State Quad at UAlbany for one wonderful year, but their friendship will be eternal. Lyss cared for Kate when things were tough, cleaned their room when Kate was in class, shared all of Kate's snacks, accompanied her on journeys to every vending machine on the quad so that Kate could get her favorite treats (cheddar popcorn and swedish fish) and brought food home whenever Kate was too stressed to feed herself. This friendship was born on fast food, car rides, SVU marathons and internet jokes, and will remain beautiful for all time.

Emily Beer

Bridesmaid

Everyone says that once high school is over, they will move on to bigger and better things. Though true in some ways, Katherine couldn't imagine having moved on from high school without Emily's friendship. Once fraught with high school drama, it only improved with age, instilling both young women with an immense appreciation for the importance of girl time. Though they no longer pass notes in water bottles or shoes by throwing them across the room when a teacher isn't looking, they still adore Harry Potter, cozy fireplaces, animals, dreams of adventure (though one is admittedly a more seasoned adventurer, and it is not Katherine), and having someone to talk to that just IMMEDIATELY understands what you're trying to say. ("Oh my god, I KNOW") Thank you for always knowing!

Bill Bradley

Groomsman

My brother, and a life long friend. Bill is one of the kindest souls I've ever known, and you'll never meet someone who doesn't love to be around him. He and I have always shared passions in baseball, movies, and many of the same video games, and I love getting the chance to talk to him about those things whenever we have the chance. Bill and I also share a passion for being overly analytical, so when we talk about a movie or video game we like, the analysis can get very deep. If you talk sports with Bill, be prepared to digest dozens of niche statistics that he has personally curated to support all of his opinions. Bob once told me, and I'll absolutely agree, that you can give Bill a single sports topic, and just let him go for hours, and the content would be better than any sports radio on air today. Bill is passionate, patient, kind, creative, charming, and intelligent in all the ways I strive to be too. I have learned a lot from Bill over the years, and I am glad to call him a brother.

Robert Bradley

Groomsman

My brother, and the best man. Bob has always been there for me. From when I was a kid and he'd watch all my baseball games, showing off to his friends how hard I could throw. To when I turned 21 and he came out to guide me on a crazy night out (and then throwing me an impromptu house party the next day). To when he worked tirelessly to help me find the perfect house to buy in a market where people aren't usually allowed to be picky. When Bob gets something in his head to be done, he will always find a way get it done. I've always admired that about him, and I've tried to emulate it in my life as well. Bob and I have been through a lot over the years, and I'm extremely grateful I get to call him my brother.

Akeem Cassermere

Groomsman

I've known Keem for almost as long as I can remember, and I consider him one of my brothers. He's at every family event, and is in every Bradley secret Santa. I think we basically shared a room for a good while when I was a kid too, so I think it qualifies Keem will always feel a bit like a celebrity to me, since when I was in third grade he convinced me he was Carmello Anothony's half brother. He had a full backstory, and an answer to every one of my questions. I spent years waiting for that Carmello autograph, and it took me nearly a decade to learn he was messing with me. Keem is the guy you want to talk sports, movies, tv, comic books, or basically anything. He's an endless bank of knowledge about those things and you'll always be able to talk about something. Or you can challenge him to a bar game, but you'll probably lose. It's not hard to figure out why basically everyone in Albany knows Keem and calls him a friend.

Kyle Minick

Groomsman

Kyle and I first met playing baseball together as kids. While we were friendly as teammates, we didn't really come to know each other until high school when we shared a Digital Electronics class. It was in this class that I first met Jesse and Pat, two people who were already close friends with Kyle. But it was Kyle who, for some reason, became determined to have me hang out with them outside of school, something I was usually reluctant to do. But after weeks of Kyle insisting that I hang out, I finally decided I should, and I am so grateful I did. It was this small gesture which set me on the path to where I am today. Because of Kyle, I met Pat, Jesse, and Arlen, all people I also consider best friends. Without Kyle, my life would be so different that none of this would be possible.

Arlen Straussman

Groomsman

I have known Arlen since high school, but surprisingly I never actually had a class with him. I only knew of him for a long time as the person Kyle really wanted me to meet because he thought we'd get along well, and he was right. Once Arlen and I eventually met, we clicked right away. We had a similar, somewhat obscure sense of humor, and we have a lot of similar niche interests. He's one of the only people I can find myself talking to about something for hours on end without it getting dull. And of course, anyone that knows us both will tell you that we share an aptitude for debate, so don't be surprised if you find us in deep disagreement about something mostly meaningless, but interesting to think about (and usually just for fun). I have had so many deep and interesting conversations (and debates) with Arlen, and he's without a doubt one of my closest friends because of it. I can't think of anyone in my life that I get along with like Arlen, and he is one of the only people in my life (besides Kate) that I talk to almost every day.

Jesse Jurcsak

Groomsman

Jesse is in many ways was always the core of our friend group. It was in his basement that we all congregated, to the point that I think I spent more time there than I did at my own house over the years. So many of my fondest memories are with Jesse. We shared a study hall second period of my senior year, and that was the main reason I would get to school on time. For 40 minutes we would just joke around or invent new games to play (like multi-dimensional tic-tac-toe). And I'll admit that sometimes we had a bit too much fun and would often decide to just walk back to his house after school, but it worked out. Jesse and I also lived together for two years, and that was an unforgettable time of my life. Jesse and I have always connected well, we can both be a bit reserved in groups or when meeting new people and so we sometimes tend to group up in those settings. But he is one of the funniest people I've ever met once you get him talking, and one of my best friends.

Pat Bell

Groomsman

Pat is the kind of guy that everyone loves. He is kind and supportive, and he will always hang on your every word if you're telling him a story. He's also always up for anything and it is impossible not to have fun with Pat in basically any setting. Go out for a night with Pat in Albany, and he'll have friends around every corner. Pat and I have been told that we are a dangerous duo to be left by ourselves though. Neither of us have an off button, so we've been known to find ourselves surprised by the sun coming up and struggling to find an Uber. But it's always worth it.

Alex Shattuck

Groomsman

I asked Alex to be the third roomate in the terrible apartment I found last minute before Junior year at RPI. After first rejecting me, he messaged me a week later to say he changed his mind, and I am so glad he did. Living together, Alex and I immediately bonded and were pretty much inseparable. There was never a dull moment between us, and we often joked about needing a radio segment that just recorded our banter. We did basically everything together for three years. Whenever he and I are together, Kate never fails to remind me how much "bro chemistry" we have. College would have been unbearable without Alex there, and he is the only person from RPI that I would consider one of my best friends. Of course, he is now married to Alyssa, Kates college roommate and bridesmaid.
