Portland has a ton to do, but here's a few of the things we've enjoyed on our trips there.
Multnomah Falls
Columbia River Gorge, OR
Columbia Gorge is about 30 minutes outside of Portland and has a ton of waterfalls- the most spectacular of which is probably Multnomah! There's so much worth seeing in this area.

Portland has various food truck pods, which are a great way to try a bunch of different kinds of food all in one place! Or I guess just one kind, but we somehow always end up ordering too much food.
Tom McCall Waterfront Park

A really cool waterfront park for people and bridge watching.
Jam On Hawthorne

We went here the first time we ever visited Portland and loved the vegetarian biscuits and gravy.
Voodoo Doughnut - Old Town
22 Southwest 3rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97204
Voodoo Doughnuts has a bunch of different funky donut designs and flavors. Look for pink awning
Powell's City of Books
1005 West Burnside Street, Portland, OR 97209
A really, really big bookstore.
