Official taxis are the only way to get off the airport to the hotels. You can book a taxi immediately after baggage claim (either inside or outside). The price is the same from all official taxi vendors. You can pay per person in a shared taxi--approx. $20 per person, or pay for the entire taxi for a bigger group--$appox $100 total. You can pre-book a car, but that is not necessary or cheaper.
Uber is everywhere, convenient and safe. We recommend requesting Uber Comfort, as UberX in Mexico is smaller than in the USA. Uber is also the best way to get back to SJD Airport when you go home.
For the ceremony we request our guests be dressed in black tie optional attire. For gentlemen, this includes a tuxedo or a dark, formal suit with a dress shirt and tie. For ladies, full-length evening gowns are preferred. There is no theme or color palette. Guests are encouraged to wear what makes them feel best. Open-toed heels are appropriate. There is no formal dress code for the other events.
Absolutely no pressure, please just join what you can! The wedding ceremony is the main event.
