Brian and Elexa have been friends for 18 years. They met at Florida State University at the music dorm and reconnected in New York City in 2018. Over drinks catching up overlooking the Empire State Building, sparks flew and they were inseparable the next three days of Elexa’s NYC Trip. One week later, they booked a trip to Paris for Valentines Day. The week after that, Brian visited Atlanta for the first time to see Elexa and during that trip they admitted they loved each other. Their love only grew stronger through New Years Eve at Disney World with Ravenclaw dorkage at Harry Potter’s Wizarding World. Their first Broadway show in January was Anastasia before Elexa’s first showing of her art at her first Broadwaycon. That same month, Elexa also got to see Brian play live for the first time- and at Carnegie Hall to boot! February found them knowing they wanted to get married and admitting that while in traveling in Paris. Brian almost proposed there but it was San Juan in May that Brian took out a lock he had bought for the Love bridge in Paris and written “marry me?” and got on his knee asking Elexa to spend the rest of their lives together. The next year as the pandemic broke out, Brian relocated to Atlanta to be with Elexa and they purchased their first home. The two of them made it through the chaos of two years of wedding postponements, job losses, isolation of the pandemic, a terrible car accident totaling Elexa's car and more. But they are stronger than ever and having had such a unique engagement over three years makes them know more than ever that they are meant to be together through sickness and in health and through better or for worse. They are delighted to share this much anticipated weekend with you celebrating friendship and true love.
