Camp Nauvoo is a hidden gem featuring 86.5 secluded acres located near Placerville in Gold Country in California. It featuring a Tahoe-like environment surrounded by trees with a beautiful meadow and Weber Creek running through it. It's a perfect place for those that love the outdoors.
The property features a lodge with a commercial kitchen as well as restrooms with showers. There is a playground, volleyball, basketball courts, along with many miles of hiking trails, and of course swimming and fishing (catch & release) in the creek. There's a huge campfire bowl that has stadium seating and a lighted stage for entertainment. Propane BBQ grills are provided in the common area adjacent to the lodge.
There are two teepees and seven safari-style tents with cots for glamping. There are also numerous individual and group tent sites for those of us who don't mind sleeping on the ground. Please bring your own sleeping bag.

If you are coming in from out of town, we recommend getting a rental car for transportation to and from camp. If you would like to split the cost of a rental car with another guest please let us know, and be sure to give us your flight and travel plans so that we can attempt to find you a match.
