There are three major airports in Portugal. One is in the Algarve region, one is in Porto, and one is in Lisbon. The wedding location, Viseu, is about 4 hours from Lisbon and about an hour and a half from Porto.
We recommend renting a car to navigate the country. You can rent a vehicle at any of the Portuguese airports. For those that anticipate coordinating with others for a vacation, this may be easier.
