Get a taste for iconic Texas life in the big city in this historic district known for it's daily cattle drive and cowboys. Great food, great shopping, and a true Texas landmark. We recommend also taking the time to check out the iconic Billy Bob's Honky Tonk in the evening!
Joe T. Garcia's
Nestled in the southern section of the Fort Worth Stockyards, Joe T. Garcia's is a beautiful place to enjoy some amazing Fort Worth Tex-Mex cuisine. We always enjoyed going here with friends and family and even celebrated Stephanie and Anthony's wedding here too!
Terry Black’s Barbecue
Look, you can't visit Texas and leave without eating some famous Texas barbecue. Terry Black's is an Austin-based staple located in the hip west 7th Fort Worth area. Get some brisket, jalapeño cheese sausage, and some mac and cheese. Bring friends, come hungry, and get your wheelbarrow ready to roll you out.
Sundance Square Plaza
Sundance Square is the center of downtown Fort Worth - home to a beautiful plaza that allows great relaxation while offering a location surrounded by some fantastic restaurants. We spent many of our dates here enjoying the shaded afternoons and sparkling night life.
Fort Worth Zoo
Known as one of the top zoo's in the United States, this is great place to transport you and your family to a hidden gem in the city's historic area. For those travelling with children looking for something to do - this is a lot of fun (and likely a great way to wear them out).
