A new go-to for us and a great patio
The reason Chelsea moved to Maine
We live here. It's bikeable, spacious, and underrated. Don't skip the Bunktoberfest!
Just get it ... and ravioli too
The only lobster roll that matters
Great for a little walk!
One of our favorite spots to bike to in the summer. While there are no waves, the views of Casco Bay and the boats on the water make this a warm weekend staple. Local Tip - Spring Point Tavern is around the corner and while it might not look like much on the outside (or the inside) they make the best mozzarella sticks in town. Chelsea if you are reading this, is it too late to have those mozz sticks at the wedding? - Brian
Ask for "one of those flaky, like cylindrical french pastry dessert things" like Brian does
We are not NYC but we do have Scratch bagels and peanut butter cookies
If you need your bike repaired but also a breakfast burrito with fritos on it, head on over
In the words of Chelsea's dad: "you guys eat a lot of french fries"
It's a long story
It costs more to feed the parking meter than it does to have a couple of rounds here. While there, don't be surprised if a tall man with a mustache and a baby offers you a jello shot. He's a very nice man, lives next door and will be at the wedding.
Mentioned earlier but, get the mozz sticks
Maybe not really a dive bar but you’ll get it if you go
Definitely one of our favorite restaurants
The Snug was the original best pour, but they closed so we've had to migrate to Kings Head. You can see it from the back deck of the welcome event so you'd be crazy not to give it a try afterwards... Other places with Guinness: Henry's, Dock Fore, Lambs, Jerome's
Everything is good
Sometimes we just have nachos for dinner and when we do, it’s these
We spend a lot of time here in the summer at concerts, but also home to Bissell Brothers (brewery & good wings/fries), Sacred Profane (brewery), and Leisure Time (cocktails & pierogis)
CBG is just steps from the State Theatre and is one of our favorite spots for great bar food, cheap beer and great cocktails. Beware of the heavy bathroom door, it almost cut Chelsea's arm off once. - Brian
If you knew 2020 us, you know we ordered a different pizza every weekend until we ran out of options. They're all very different, but here are our top picks: Otto, Slab, Brickyard Hollow, Off Track, DiPietros
We've mostly listed casual places, but Scales, Fore Street, and Street & Co are 5/5 for seafood and really everything
If you want to experience where Chelsea teaches classes... text her & check it out
Good luck
