Cocktail attire is preferred on Saturday. We're planning for an outdoor ceremony if the weather lets us, and Maine Craft has a patio that'll be set up for you to enjoy if you love the fall as much as we do. Fall in Maine can bring a surprise 80-degree day, a snow day, or somewhere in between... so be prepared for anything! The ceremony is in a park, so think grass-friendly shoes. You'll then have the option to take a short walk from the ceremony to cocktail hour and reception, or catch a ride. For the rest of the weekend, dress however you'd like - just know Portland is typically pretty casual.
Getting to the ceremony: We recommend Uber/Lyft, walking, or carpooling. If you're driving, there's limited free street parking on North Street (the street the park is on) and the surrounding streets - just make sure you allow enough time to find a spot before 3:30pm! You can also park at/around Maine Craft Distilling and we'll have a trolley to bring you up to Fort Sumner Park in time for the ceremony departing at 2:45pm and 3:00pm. Getting to the reception: Choose your own adventure! There are several walking paths (~0.2 miles), and we'll have a trolley available to hop on as well. The trolley can only hold so many, so if you miss the first one, it will be right back for you. If you're driving, there's free street parking on Washington Ave, or a paid parking lot right at Maine Craft Distilling. Spots are limited but usually available.
No! But since it's a long weekend and one of the best times of year in Portland, we recommend spending all the time here that you can! However, everything we have planned around the wedding day is totally optional and you're welcome to join us for as little or as much as you want.
They are not invited to the wedding. Sorry! You're welcome to bring your kids to the "day after hangout" if you plan to join us
We'd love to keep our wedding limited to close family and friends, but if you have a significant other that we haven't met yet and should... just text us!
RSVP as soon as you know you can or can't make it, but please no later than September 7.
