What is the dress code?

Answer

We love a good excuse to get dressed up! Guests are invited to wear suits or dress shirts with ties, as well as mid or full length dresses.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on grass. If you plan to wear heels, we recommend block heels or wedges. October in Southern Illinois is typically comfortable during the day and cooler in the evening, so we suggest bringing a sweater or jacket. The reception will be held indoors in a heated barn.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Kids are part of the celebration too. Please let us know if they will be attending so that we can make sure they have a magical time.

Is transportation to and from Bell Hill provided?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle service available to and from Home2 Suites. If you are booking a cabin and would like to use the shuttle service, we can accomodate that as well! Please let us know so that we can arrange it with the drivers. We will share more information about shuttle service details as the day gets closer.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes. For guests with mobility concerns, a golf cart will be available to assist with transportation around the property as needed. Please let us know ahead of time if you may need assistance so we can help everyone feel comfortable throughout the evening.
