Early June evenings in Shelby are warm and lovely, with temperatures typically in the low to mid-70s°F. There’s often a gentle breeze, and the skies are usually clear, making it perfect for an outdoor ceremony. A light wrap or shawl can be nice just in case it cools slightly toward sunset. Tips for staying comfortable: Bring sunglasses, a hat, or a small handheld fan if you like, and don’t forget a light layer in case the evening gets cooler during the ceremony.
We’d love for our guests to wear formal or dressy attire to match the elegant vibe of the evening. Here’s some guidance: Women: Cocktail dresses, dressy skirts, or nice jumpsuits Men: Dress shirts with slacks, suits optional Please avoid: Jeans, sneakers, casual sandals, or overly casual clothing. Think polished, classy, and ready to celebrate with us!
To help the ceremony flow smoothly, guests will not be seated during the processional. Arriving early to our 'Step & Repeat' at 4:30pm ensures you can find a seat, get settled, and enjoy the full experience from the very beginning.
Only invited guests & approved plus-ones are able to attend. We appreciate your understanding.
We are welcoming a limited number of children. Thank you for respecting our wishes.
