If you would’ve asked me a few years ago if I ever thought I’d get married, the answer would’ve been no. But God had other plans for me! I’m so grateful to be blessed with an amazing man. For those of you that don’t know me, I am an intelligent, graceful, God fearing woman that’s head strong and determined. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Western Carolina University and I am the first in my family to graduate high school, go straight to college, and graduate in 4 years. My favorite quote: “There is no force equal to a woman determined to rise.”

It was already written. If you would’ve asked me a few years ago did I know I was going to ask the girl who was sitting across from me in English class and Spanish class to marry me. The girl I asked "What’s the answer to number 4." I would’ve even known. But, God already knew without a doubt. The 3 things I value is love, loyalty and health. I find myself being a kingdom man amongst anything. I’m so lucky to have a God fearing, intelligent, sultry women to call my wife. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Recreation and Leisure studies with the Emphasis in Sports Communication from The University of Mount Olive. Where in that time in school I grew, soul searched, found my individuality and purpose in this life time. My favorite quote: Prospective drives performance every day of the week. Words can’t express the love I have for my dearest and longest friend. We met each other in fifth grade and from there our friendship blossomed into adulthood. I couldn’t of asked for a better maid of honor and a better best friend to have standing on my side on my special day. Through the ups and downs of life our friendship has remained strong as ever and I’m so grateful to have met her in fifth grade. She’s the funniest person I know and she brings light into any room she enters. I can’t wait for y’all to meet her but be careful, she’s taken.😉

Let me introduce you to the man, the myth, the legend, Tim Jones! Not only is he my best friend he’s the one I can call on no matter what. Since freshman year of college when we met we haven’t let up since. The University of Mount Olive track and field program bred some of my greatest and closest friendships. Our brotherhood is a bond that can’t be broken, everyone meet my best man…Tim Jones!

Amani is the sweetest soul I’ve ever met! I appreciate our paths crossing and we know it was meant to be because truthfully we can’t recall the exact moment we became besties. But, by Gods grace and His plan, two little freshman flute players became attached for life. She’s been there in my worst moments, accepted me for who I am, and more importantly she’s shown me what true friendship feels like and for that, I’m forever grateful. I can’t wait for you all to meet my lovely bridesmaid, Amani.

I’m so happy to introduce you all to my best friend Rachel! Not only has she been my best friend but she’s my confidant, my photographer, my personal stylist, and so much more. But beyond that she is my sister in Christ. We met at the Summit Church and our friendship only got stronger through small group and taking on life side by side. We’re more alike than you would think and we share so much in common; our life paths, our experiences, relationships etc. I’m so happy to have Rachel by my side on my special day, I hope you all get the chance to meet her. P.S: Rachel captured our gorgeous engagement photo shoot in the freezing cold! Her love has no bounds - when you see her be sure to tell her how great of a photographer she is!

The most hard-working and funniest person I know Montae and I met back in middle school on the track and field team and build a bond from there, that would curate a brotherhood. As we got into high school and then college years we continue to remain solid and flourish within our journey. I know I can count on Montae through rigorous times. He definitely has the energy to make your day for sure and to make sure everyone else around him is up-float.

Let me introduce you to the man, J-Cutz, to smooth for school Johnny Middlebrooks the man of the masses and the most down to earth person I know. We generated a brotherhood in college on and off the track and field. Johnny used to save my life when I used to go on air and broadcast the games back in college he used to give me the famous "J-Cutz" haircut special. As we gained that brother hood I had a pleasure to call Johnny a good friend, brother, and overall person.
