Newport is a big summer destination spot so we recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible as some hotels sell out quickly! We do have a room block for guests looking for discounted and convenient accommodations however, Newport has a wide range of hotels and Airbnb’s to choose from if you’d like to stay somewhere else.

This is the hotel we have a room block reserved and also where Mike and Briana will be staying. It is located across the street from Easton’s Beach and a short walk to the Cliff Walk! Additionally, there are several restaurants/bars walking distance around the hotel and is less then a 5 minute drive to downtown Newport. There are 15 rooms reserved for our room block at a discounted rate afterwards it’s a 12% discount on the going rate for rooms until the hotel is sold out. Please use the website linked here to book in our wedding room block. There is a 2-night minimum but we strongly recommend everyone in the bridal party and family attending the rehearsal dinner to book Thursday night due to the activities booked on Friday. When booking over the phone refer to the Bettencourt/Ward wedding. You will need to put a credit card down to hold the room but will not be charged until the day before check-in which is a $50 hold on the card until check-out. Flight

Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD)

T.F. Green Airport (PVD) is about 30 minutes from Newport, RI. It is the closest and most convenient airport. However, due to its small size it may not have as many flight options compared to Boston so we recommend comparing the two before booking!

Flight

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)

Boston Logan will have the most flight options but is a 90 min drive/Uber to Newport. You can also take the train from Boston South Station to Kingston, RI (KIN) for around $5 and then a 20 min Uber to the hotel. Use the SL1 bus (silver line 1) which picks ups/drops off at every airport terminal and routes to south station for free

Amtrak

Amtrak is a great option to look into for those who are traveling from New York via NY Penn Station (NYP) to Providence, RI (PVD) or Kingston, RI (KIN) as low as $25 for coach. Kingston, RI is closer and a 20-30 minute Uber ride to Newport. They also service Washington DC (WAS to KIN) for as low as $35.
