Kelly and Jamie first met in late March, 1974, as they were born in the same hospital several hours apart. They then met up again 17 years later when Jamie moved to Germantown, Ohio, during their junior year of high school, way over-dressed. After high school, Kelly was his boss at the Farmersville swimming pool for one outrageous summer! It was the beginning of a beautiful bromance. Jamie currently lives in Denver with his wife, Ivory, and two daughters, traveling the country as a sports photographer. Occasionally, Kelly travels with him for work as the assistant to the photographer.
Larisa Bright
Maid of Honor/Sister of the Bride
Sure, she’s five years younger than Bri, but she might as well have been a twin. Though the years of fighting over clothes and listening in on each other's phone calls are long gone, Larisa is Bri's go-to for any and all questions (except geography)! There are too many memories to share in this space, but there were no other options when Bri was thinking about who she needed to stand with her on her wedding day. Larisa lives in New York City with her husband, Murphy, and their dog child, Bonedigger the Bulldog. She is the co-founder of Settled, a luxury home organization firm helping to make the world a more beautiful place.
Matt Barber
Pro Aisle Walker/Brother of the Bride
As the baby of the family, Matt has always been a calm in the storm as the only boy in a house full of women. His abilty to navigate difficult situations was necessary for survival when we growing up and he used those skills to graduate from West Point Military Academy, become an Army Ranger and serve in Iraq. Though he is plenty tough on his own, Larisa and Bri often take credit for helping to toughen him up when he was younger (please ask him about the Spice Girls Incident). Bri knew she would need Matt's support on the big day as she walked down the aisle. Matt currently lives in Houston, Texas with his wife, Jacqueline and newborn daughter, Evie and dog, Toby.
Lewis "Scott" Alverson
Officiant
Scott will be The Officiant for the special day. He was chosen from numerous candidates due to his sense of humor, his eloquence, and his movie-star looks! Kelly met Scott in 2011 when they began working together at Tollgate Elementary School; within a year of joining forces at Tollgate, they traveled to New Orleans and the Caribbean together. Bri met Scott in 2015 and the two immediately became friends. Along with Scott's wife Monique, the four of them have attended concerts, vacationed in the mountains, and dominated at trivia.
