Open from March through October, this is one of our favorite places to go on a Saturday or Sunday morning in the summer. Fresh flowers, veggies, and local artisan goods, it's a nice way to get outside and feel a sense of community.
Good beer, good eats - plenty of gluten-free drink options as well. A great place to go in downtown Vancouver, and they have a giant (covered) outdoor space if the weather is nice.
Jude loves this place for the beer and general ambiance (check out the upstairs!), Briana loves it because it is dog-friendly. They also have a few gluten-free options available.
If you want to see where the magic began, go here to retrace our first date steps! Great for wine and Italian fare.
Near Karen and Bill's house, this is a great spot to stroll and people-watch, as well as take in the beautiful Columbia River scenery. There are several places to eat along the way.
A fun spot with unparalleled views of the I-5 bridge; great for happy hour and dueling pianos.
Very close to our home and downtown Vancouver, the fort is the oldest military fort in the Western states. Take a tour of old military homes and barracks, eat at the Grant House (good for lunch and happy hour), walk a four-legged friend around the property, and observe planes taking off from Pearson Field.
Perfect for a low-impact 4 mile walk - this is where we take Ray for off-leash fun and swimming. Beautiful views of the river and Mount Hood, as well as a nice park at the end where you can visit the Water Resource Center and learn how Vancouver preserves our natural resources.
A nature preserve in the middle of Vancouver! Several miles of hiking loops, lakes, and fish hatcheries.
We had to include this one! Super authentic, super cheap, super small - Super Taco! Go here for a quick lunch or dinner if you just can't with all of the beer.
