FAQs

The Wedding Website of Bria Light and Mark Ignatius
Still have questions? Butterbeans will be happy to assist you.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you know, but ideally not later than February 14, 2026. (Your Valentine to us, perhaps?)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

If you are flying, the closest airports are San Francisco, Oakland, and Sonoma County Airport (limited flights). If you're flying in from anywhere that isn't the West Coast, it will likely be easiest to fly into San Francisco or Oakland. The drive from the Bay Area is about 2.5 hours. From Sonoma, it is just over an hour. We suggest renting a car and carpooling in groups. If you'd like help coordinating rides, please let us know.

Question

Should I bring a swim suit and towel?

Answer

There is a lovely hot tub onsite to enjoy, and a seasonal pond on the property that will likely offer some spring swimming for those so inclined!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Have fun and be you! ....and wear sensible footwear for an outdoor wedding - stilettos not recommended! Terms that may apply are: country chic, western flare, retro pizazz, spring fling... go wild! For nighttime parties, costumes and other pieces of flare are certainly encouraged. There will be a disco dance party, so lean in, kids. Daytimes will be likely be in the 70s and warm, while nights will be cool, so don't forget some cozy yet funky layers for the spring night chill. There are also several miles of trails on the property, so sporty attire & footwear may come in handy as well.

Question

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

There is ample parking at Whispertree Retreat. There are two main parking lots: the Toll House parking lot immediately when you enter Whispertree and the Overflow Parking Area on the left side of the main gate. You will park in either of these two lots and then you will walk to/from the ceremony. Please plan on a 15 minute walk to the ceremony site from the parking area. If walking to the ceremony is difficult for you, we will have someone shuttle you to/from the ceremony. Please reach out to our wedding planner, Freida, to coordinate.

Question

What else should I bring?

Answer

Sunglasses & Hat Earplugs (late night jams may occur!) Comfy shoes Sunscreen Mosquito repellent Bathing suit plus flip flops/sandals for the hot tub and pond Towel if you want to swim in the pond/hot tub Warm layers for the evening Backpack or tote for transporting your stuff around the property Toiletries Headlamp/Flashlight Refillable Water Bottle Light rain jacket A joke or two (Unfortunately, no pets please)

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is the best gift we could ask for. Seriously! But for those who those who'd like, we've got a little honeymoon fund set up here on Zola.

Question

What about kids?

Answer

While kids are welcome, please let us know when you RSVP if you plan to bring your littles, so that we can plan accordingly - thanks!
