Brittnie is Bre’s cousin, but their bond goes far beyond that—they’ve grown up more like sisters! While they’ve always had their own unique friend groups and independent lives, they’ve always found their way back to each other for good times and great memories. Since Bre moved back to Atlanta five years ago, their relationship has grown even stronger, and Brittnie has been a constant source of love, support, and laughs. She’s ready to help make this wedding unforgettable and is sure to bring her fun, creative energy to the big day!
Ashley
Matron of Honor
Ashley is Bre’s longest and best friend and matron of honor! They met at 18 serving at a restaurant together and were college roommates throughout those unforgettable years, making countless fun and exciting memories together. In fact, Ashley and Bre have lived together longer than Bre and Jose have—but who's counting? Over the years, even as Ashley built her own beautiful family (with Bre proudly standing by her side at her wedding), their friendship has remained strong and full of laughter. Whenever they hang out, it’s always an adventure, and Bre couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without Ashley by her side!
David
Best Man
David and Jose—who goes by Lugo among his D.C. friends—met while working in a kitchen, and they’ve been inseparable since 2014! Anyone who has worked in a restaurant knows that it can get pretty intense. It took them a couple of months to hit it off, but once they did, they quickly bonded over their shared love for hip-hop, pro wrestling, delicious food, and traveling.
Osman

Osman has been friends with Jose since 10th grade! After moving to D.C. from Canada, Osman found a great friend in Jose, who was one of the first people he met. They’ve become really close, with Osman being one of Jose’s closest confidants. Jose affectionately calls Osman his "plug" for Reggae and Dancehall music since they both enjoy the genre so much and love sharing song recommendations with each other.

Lauren and Bre have been best friends since they were 18, spending countless fun-filled days together during their college years. From late-night laughs to unforgettable adventures, wild nicknames and PIC tendencies - they’ve always known how to have a good time. No matter how much time passes, their friendship is full of joy and good vibes. Bre is so excited to have Lauren standing by her side on her special day!
Megan

Bre and Megan have been friends since their college days, sharing countless fun parties and unforgettable (or sometimes forgotten!) memories. Even though they don’t live in the same state anymore, they make it a point to travel and see each other as often as they can. Megan’s adventurous spirit and lively energy make every moment together unforgettable, and Bre is thrilled to have her standing by her side!
Ranz

If you’ve ever hung out with Ranz and Jose, you know they’re a hilarious duo! Friends since 2005, these two have bonded over their love for jokes and sports. Back in the day, they also threw some unforgettable parties! Even though they don’t root for the same football team (Go Birds!), they both cheer on other D.C. teams like the Wizards, Capitals, and Nationals. Don’t forget to ask them about their fun adventures as season ticket holders!
Sean
Groomsman
Sean and Jose have also been close friends since 10th grade! He’s affectionately known as "Lurch" to his friends and is as charming as they come. Plus, he’s a true American hero, having served as a U.S. Marine! Right now, Sean is working towards his Master’s degree in Logistics, and like Jose, he’s a big fan of the Washington Capitals. Fun fact: Sean’s mom actually gave Jose one of his first jobs as a teenager at her accounting firm!
Andie

Andie and Bre have been friends since 2014 when they met in Zoo school. Alongside Kathryn and Liz, they shared many unique experiences working with some amazing animals. Their bond grew through all those adventures, and Bre is so excited to have Andie by her side on this special day!
Liz

Liz and Bre have been friends since their Zoo school days, sharing incredible memories alongside Kathryn and Andie—both then and now. From unforgettable adventures with cool animals to getting matching tattoos to celebrating Liz’s wedding, their friendship has only grown stronger. Bre is so excited to have Liz as part of the festivities and by her side for this special day!
Dan

Dan and Jose have been good friends since 2007! They met through some mutual friends and hit it off right away. Fun fact: Jose actually graduated high school with Dan's wife, Kim, but they didn't become friends until after they graduated. These two share tons of interests, are both very proud of their Puerto Rican heritage, and Dan is even one of our American heroes, proudly serving in the U.S. Navy!
Walter

Walter and Jose, who have been friends since 2014, were brought together by Jose's best man, David, and quickly bonded over their love for soccer (Vamos United!) and Reggae music. They’ve traveled to some exciting places and even worked together. Walter, or “Wally” as he's affectionately called, is one of the kindest people Jose knows and brews up some of the best coffee you will ever taste!
Kathryn

Kathryn and Bre have been friends since their zoo school days with Liz and Andie. Inseparable during school, they’ve stayed deeply connected, sharing all of life’s significant moments. Fun fact: Kathryn is the only friend who’s visited Bre in every city she’s lived in! Bre couldn’t be more excited to have Kathryn by her side for this special celebration.
Sophie

Sophie and Bre first met in California in 2017 and reconnected when Sophie moved to Atlanta in 2021. Though they were in touch and bonded over plants through the years on Instagram, their bond has grown so much stronger over the past few years. From fun dinner dates to their love of wine and charcuterie to traveling together to doggy playdates with their pups, they’ve become the closest of friends. Bre is so excited to have Sophie be part of her wedding day!
Gabe

Gabe and Jose have been friends since 2017 when they both lived in Miami. From being roommates to becoming like family, their bond has grown strong over the years. Gabe is always encouraging Jose to hit the gym with him, and they both share a passion for music. Together with a few other friends, they formed a fun jam band called "Only On Mondays." Since they both worked in the restaurant industry, they could only find time to practice on Mondays. Jose will forever cherish the many times Gabe whipped up his famous arepas! (Gabe is pictured in blue. The guy in the middle is the famous comedian Brad Williams)
T.J.

T.J., Bre's brother, hit it off with Jose right from the start. They’re both thrilled about becoming "brothers-in-law" and share an undeniable love for baseball. Even though they root for rival teams, T.J. and Jose have enjoyed countless baseball games together. They’re on a mission to visit as many baseball stadiums as possible and love collecting bobbleheads along the way!
Kelsey

Kelsey and Bre have worked together for the past 2 1/2 years, and Kelsey was Bre’s coach for some time, guiding her through both the good and tough times. Their bond has grown into a fun and exciting friendship, with weekends filled with football, baseball, boat days, drinks, and fun porch talks alongside Jose and Kelsey’s new husband, Brian. Kelsey is the kind of person who brings a lively, fun energy to any situation, and with their shared love for Taylor Swift and a good time Bre couldn’t imagine having a wedding party without her!
Hannah

Hannah and Bre have been working together at their dream job since 2022, and they clicked instantly from day one. Since then, Hannah has been Bre’s favorite part of work days and they’ve bonded over their love for otters, difficult Orangetheory sessions and Postino wine dates with cheese boards and bruschetta. Both 2025 brides- getting engaged just a month apart they get to bond over wedding planning now too! Hannah brings a calm, happy presence to Bre’s life, and she couldn’t imagine celebrating this special day without her by her side!

John has been an essential part of Bre and Jose's journey together from the very start. If it weren't for him hiring Bre at Batch Gastropub in Miami, these two might have never crossed paths! It’s heartwarming to see how he’s been a fantastic friend to them, celebrating every milestone along the way as they built their relationship.
