Decatur is about a 30 minute drive from the airport. Rideshare in the city and to Decatur is plentiful! You also have to option to take the Marta from the airport to the Decatur station.
Train
From the Atlanta Airport you can access the Marta from the Airport Station in the south terminal. Take the Gold line to Five Points station then Blue line to Decatur Station. It is about a 5 minute walk from the station to the recommended hotels. Google maps is very helpful to figure out public transportation.
