Maid of Honor
Where do I start? Bre and I are 2nd cousins so I've literally known her all my life. We have always been really close and she is more like a sister than anything. I feel so honored that she chose me to be her maid of honor and that I get to be a part of her big day. I am so elated that she found her perfect match and can't wait for August 13th!
Best Man
It was a clear hot day, about high noon; Shaun and I headed to Mercer’s EGR school. Somehow, our parents met and spoke during the parent orientation. After separating, my dad and I happen to arrive at the student residence office simultaneously as Shaun and his mom. We had the same resident hall choice but were placed in a room so small that you had to use your words if you had disagreements because there wasn’t enough space to fight. From then on, me and Big Homie Shaun rolled and reinforced each other whenever, from wherever, and through whatever.
Matron of Honor
I had the honor of meeting Breyuana at the University of Georgia. Right upon meeting Brey, we instantly clicked and became friends, no, sisters! I always admired her love of adventure, how she could always brighten my day with just a smile or her sense of humor and how I could talk to her about literally anything. She is more than worthy of this day and she is going to make an extraordinary wife! Seeing her with Shaun she is the happiest I have ever seen her, and I’m so grateful and honored to be apart of my best friend’s day!

Shaun oh Shaun, what can I say about my little brother today. One thing I can definitely say is I have known him longer than Most. Ever since he came in this world 2 years after me, ever since he was potty training, ever since he accidentally took A putt putt to mom's head, ever since he made all A's and even when he fell in the Stingray tank at Sea World. There is so much I can say but I don't have that much time today But I do want to say Congratulations on your big day

One of the biggest blessings I count in my life is God giving me the big sister that he did. I tell her all the time how proud I am of her & how she’s one of the most motivational people I’ve came across in my 21 years of life. To grow up with her watching her work so hard and be so smart then to see it all pay off brings nothing but joy to me. Someone so beautiful and pure deserves everything that she’s got and more. Finding out she was getting married was an exciting moment. I’ve always told her how none of my friends are at the stage of getting married yet and how I’d never attended a wedding before so to hear the news made me ecstatic lol. Not only for that reason but because my sister deserves love , peace , happiness & commitment. I’m glad she met the love of her life Shaun and wish nothing but happiness & longevity on their marriage and lives. I don’t want to drag this on any longer even though I could write a book about my expressions to my sister but overall I’m proud and happy for her. I love her and congratulate her on her new chapter in life. Pray for many more blessings to come.

Evan had the distinct pleasure of meeting Shaun early in undergrad at Georgia State. He’s one of the few in the Wedding Party to see Shaun with a full fro! A chance encounter at a leadership conference has turned into nearly a decade of brotherhood.

I met Breyuana in 2005. Our families had joined the same church around that time and the following year, we began attending the same school. We soon found out that our neighborhoods were only a street over from each other and after that, the rest is history. When I think about the most memorable moments growing up, Breyuana was there. She’s one of the most supportive and driven people I know. I love you sis! You’re so deserving of true love. I’m honored to be by your side on your special day. ❤️

I first met Ocho Cuatro in the halls of our Alma Mater. While most were nervous for the new year, Shaun glided through the halls as if the school needed him. He had just transferred from Chamblee and this small private school wasn't ready for what he had to offer. As there were only a few of......us. We we're recognizable classmates, team mates and friends.

Breyuana and I met Fall of 2012. Breyuana has always been such a great listening ear. She’s definitely one of a kind when it comes to friendship. Not only does she give but she has always been consistent. I can always count on her to talk me out of my head. She helps me stay out my own way. That’s my girl and I’m going to stick beside her. Every-time right, wrong, and indifferent.

Mr. Walker and I met through the Georgia State University National Association of Black Accountants, where we molded the young minds of GSU into contributing members of society! Even though we met in a professional setting, it didn’t take us long to strike up a true and genuine friendship. We’ve now been fortunate enough to call each other close friends for 10+ years and while we’ve only gone on 1 international trip together (at the time of publication), we absolutely will be partaking in more Vacayshauns as the years move along. I wish nothing but peace, blessing and health to you and your lovely bride to be.

Breyuana! 💕 What a beautiful person to know AND love! My name is Kaylon, I met Breyuana in 2018 working with Compass Group! I had no idea that a introduction email would lead to a lifelong sister. When we first met, I remember being so nervous I was so fresh with the company and had no idea what I was getting myself into! HA, we spent time communicating in the office and via email, and one day I invited her to my house to meet my family (as if we were dating LOL!!) she was so receptive and we’ve been tight every since. With similar family background, I always hoped she felt as loved as she did in Alabama! ❤️ In the last few years Breyauna has been the most genuine friend a girl could ask for, I’ve been able to come to her with tears, with smiles, with good news, bad news, my problems as well as my success. She is so supportive, and always creates an open space for no judgement. I’m so proud of her & where she is thus far in life! She is always down to travel, to visit and to stay up till 3am knowing she has to hit the road the next day! She’s a true ride or die! I’m so elated to be able to stand by her side on her BIG DAY!!! She has definitely found her MATCH, her SOULMATE! I couldn’t be more happy for her! Cheers to the WALKERS!

Shaun is like a brother even though we are cousins. There is never a dull moment with "shaun bunny". I remember the time when we both got beat for laughing while his mom was praying. I got beat but shaun bunny got a spanking. He is the only one I know will pick a couch over a comfortable bed to sleep on. Growing up, he was known as the life of the party and the traveler later on. Where is Shaun now? BALI, Shanghai, Moscow, Mumbai. 🤷🏾♂️

Breyuana and I started our friendship journey back in our childhood days. Brey and I met through my mom, when she would babysit her little sister. As the time went by, her family ended up joining our home church, Friendship Baptist. Our friendship continued to grow more as we grew older, and when I moved to Florida. When we got into our college lives, we shared an even closer bond when we became apart of the best sisterhood, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc,. No matter how much time has passed since we last seen each other, we know we can always pick up from where we left off. As a friend that has been there and watched her journey flourish, I am so honored to stand with Brey as she says “ I Do”. Prayers and blessings as she goes from Ms. to Mrs! Love you bunches, and can’t wait to see you in this next chapter! #MyshawtyBreyisgettingmarried!

Shaun and I met at Georgia State University as members of the National Association of Black Accountants. While our friendship began from shared professional aspirations, they would serve as the beginning of a friendship that has lasted over 10 years. Our friendship has been cultivated over the years through trips to Chicago, hilarious days/nights in Atlanta with friends, and calls or messages to catch up on life. I’ve been incredibly blessed by our friendship and am excited for the years to come. I wish you and your beautiful bride health, happiness and a lifetime of love emphasized by incredible Vacayshauns.

I first met Breyuana during our second week at Savannah State. We began hanging out almost everyday on campus and had so much fun experiencing college life. A few things that I have always admired about Breyuana is her kind spirit and determination. She was definitely a leader on campus, active in social clubs and the voice of WSSU. We definitely had a lot of things in common and as our friendship grew became more like sisters. She first introduced me to the love of her life Shaun and I definitely felt they were the perfect match. I am so happy for them both as the embark on a new journey in their lives as married couple. I wish you both everlasting love, success and happiness. May God Bless

Shaun aka Big Homie (that's more for his speech and not his stature) and I met on Mercer's campus freshman year through some mutual friends and the fact we were on the Biomedical Engineer track. Of course it wasn't just Big Homie I met at that time I also met his roommate Ike aka The Mayor. That year the LEO Trio was born from a ride to a party, Big Homie was behind the wheel, The Mayor was on the ones and twos and I aka the Drunk GPS was laid in the back seat getting us to the next spot all of us jamming not knowing we became brothers. Leo Trio for Life.
