Bridesmaid
Oh, Irene. I met her when she marched in and plopped down into my office on her first day at our old job. Through meetings, lots of gchats, and 2-hour lunch breaks (oops), we grew a deep bond. When life took us separate ways career-wise, we remained close friends. If I’m ever having a bad day, I can ALWAYS count on her to make me laugh. But, not only is Irene the funniest person I know, she is creative, empathetic, and curious…all traits I deeply admire. She listens attentively and gives raw, meaningful advice. Though we’ve only known each other for five years, it seems as if it has been a lifetime, which is how long I expect our friendship to last.
Bridesmaid
Started out as neighbors in 2001, ended as sisters. She’s even my mom’s “favorite daughter”. We’ve known each other since middle school and were basically attached at the hip until our mid-20s. While we are now many miles apart, I know I could call Megan anytime and we would chat just like the old days (after all, she does know my deepest insecurities and quirks). We have more memories in our friendship than we can even recall, and I cherish every one so, so deeply. She’s loyal, strong, determined, and makes me feel a sense of comfort to be around. She’s faced some of the darkest challenges and came out on top every time. It wouldn't feel right without her by me on the big day.

Natalie doesn’t even know that she has taught me so much about friendship in the years I’ve known her. She’s taught me the importance in taking time to connect with one another, even if that means just a simple text to see how your day has been. She’s been a noble example of how to take hardships with grace. She’s enthusiastic about people’s accomplishments and humble about her own. The look of pure joy on her face as it lights up about the simplest things is infectious. I feel honored to have such a wholesome soul standing with me as I wed, and I’m gleeful at how much our friendship has evolved.

Holly is the most versatile of friends I have, and I mean that in many ways. For one, she is brilliant and successful, which drives me to want to work harder in my career. Secondly, she can adapt and make a new place a home in no time, all while juggling two kids & being the glue in her family. I also mean versatility in the sense that she is the friend who I can lay on the couch and binge TV with or the friend I call to go out, knowing a hilariously fun time is in store. She goes above & beyond to make her friends feel special – from planning the best parties/trips to buying you your favorite Starbucks. No matter what, I can always count on Holly to be there for me.

Jeni and I were acquaintances through friends until the day she sent me a text proposing we live together, which began one of the most memorable and fun years of my life. Not only was she the best roommate a girl could ask for, she became one of my best friends (and my cat’s other mom). Jeni was there from the beginning – when Charlie and I first met to our relationship now. When times got rough, she was a shoulder to cry on, which meant more to me than words can express. I will always miss her delicious cooking, contagious laugh, and listening to her amazing rap playlists while we got ready for nights out. She has such a pure heart and is one of the most generous persons I know. I am so happy God brought us together and made us forever friends.
Best Man
Robert is Charlie's older brother. They grew up together in Pontotoc, Mississippi, and even were roommates in college until life naturally took them separate ways. However, fate brought Charlie to Memphis four years ago, where Robert and his family reside. Also, his two sons made Charlie an uncle, a role he adores.
Groomsman
Charlie says he met Jordan through playing sports, but they didn't become friends until medical school. They still keep in touch - especially about sports - and Charlie is always looking forward to their yearly trip to Vegas with Chan.
Groomsman
"Chan" and Charlie commuted together to class every day for two years during medical school. So, naturally, they became good friends. Charlie has always talked very highly of Chan and, as mentioned, looks forward to his yearly Vegas trip with him.
Groomsman
Charlie has known Nathan since second grade at Pontotoc Elementary. He always talks about their many laughable memories and how funny Nate is. It's very obvious that he will be a lifelong friend of Charlie's despite the physical distance between them.
Groomsman
Charlie and Chris are also hometown friends, having met in 6th grade. He laughs when he reminisces on their mischievous teenage days camping out and going to Frog Island. When Charlie goes back home to Pontotoc, he enjoys catching up with Chris.
Usher
He will probably never read this, and will also probably show up 5 minutes before the actual event. Alex is a lot cooler than me these days. With that said, I couldn't have a wedding without him. I'm so proud of the successful and independent person he's become. He's still the most hilarious person I have ever met...and though he is not so young anymore, he'll always be my little brother.

Drew is Katie's cousin. They share many memories of family gatherings at Grandma & Grandpa's for snowy Christmases; jet skiing at the lake; and celebrating his nuptials to his sweet wife, Megan (he actually beat me to the alter!). Drew has also gotten to know Charlie over the year & they formed a long-distance friendship. My heart is so happy that Drew and Alex will be involved in my wedding & I can't wait for everyone to meet them & see how special they are.
