Best Man
Friends since their days at Western Reserve Academy, you can catch Brandon and Sam reminiscing at Kepner's Tavern every time they're both back in Hudson. Katie is convinced their relationship has persisted because Sam likes having someone taller than him in the room. A complete slacker, when Brandon isn't busy in his job as a consultant at Deloitte, he can be found biking 100 miles for fun.
Maid of Honor
As Katie's Kappa Delta "Big Sister" at Rhodes, Cat guided her through all of the ups and downs of college. While she may have referred to it as "being the third wheel," Katie and Sam can promise you that she has always been a source of strength and joy in their relationship. She adds balance: tall where Katie is short, introverted where Katie is extroverted, athletic where Katie is... not. Cat is killing it at PT school in California, and proving long-distance friendships can work (it doesn’t hurt that Katie goes to bed at 2am.)
Bridesmaid
Katie's "Aunt Alex" is another friendship brought together by Kappa Delta sisterhood. Kindred spirits from the start, they bonded over a shared love of social justice and sushi. Though she also married her college sweetheart last year, don't waste your time trying to convince Katie that Alex moved to Atlanta for Andrew and not her.
Bridesmaid
Annie and Katie have been friends since Kindergarten. She's been by Katie's side through many dance classes, awkward church musicals, tears and belly laughs. Annie clearly hates children and puppies, which she proves every day in her work as a Child Life Specialist (forcing kids to be happy) and by only giving her puppy Kirby 97 belly rubs a day.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and Katie met as altos in church choir, and have remained friends across the country and world. Never one to sit still, Ashley went to college in Scotland, France, and finished out at G.W. in D.C. Now she's earned her Master's from John's Hopkins while working full-time as a Communications Analyst at USAID. Underachiever, we know. Please be aware when looking at our Facebook pictures, we were wearing those cowboy hats ironically.
Groomswoman
You could pretend it's a coincidence that Sam has followed Emily's path from Western Reserve to Rhodes to teaching at a boarding school to getting married within a year of each other. But really, it's because Emily is an incredible big sister and role model. Good taste: it runs in the family.
Groomsman
As his Pi Kappa Alpha "Big Brother," Jake and Sam could always be found in the corner of any party ranting about esoteric topics or at Alex's Tavern giggling over the jukebox. Jake is a PhD student at Notre Dame's Department of Political Science, studying democratization and post-conflict transitions in Latin America. Sam does not like it when Katie and Jake talk in Spanish without him. If you're willing to converse in elementary German, please let Sam know.
Bridesmaid
Katie and her sister Kristina shared a bathroom for 18 years. If that's not a bond, I don't know what is. Kristina is an expert on everything college football, Braves, and country music. Her biggest hobby is reminding Sam that his team just lost.
Groomswoman
Trumping Katie and Kristina's "sharing a bathroom," Molly and Sam shared a womb. And the twins share more than just a spooky Halloween birthday, Molly is also a teacher brightening the minds of tomorrow (through Latin, the language of the past.) Be warned that Katie, Molly, and Sam have proven themselves to be a nearly unstoppable team during their weekly virtual trivia.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Katie worked together in the Oglethorpe University admission office. In the beginning, Katie was known to exclaim "we're real life friends!" every time they spent time together outside of the office. Rachel now has the code to let herself into the Brewster house, so there's no going back. In taking an office personality quiz, they were unsurprised to see they answered every single question differently from one another. Like yin and yang, it just works.

Steph and Sam met as teachers at Darlington. They connected as kindred spirits, sharing many of the same hobbies and mannerisms and even a YouTube TV account. Steph recently married her soulmate Kristen Clark Bradshaw, finally putting an end to Sam and Kristen's fake siblings routine.
Groomsman
Will and Sam became friends over their mutual love of golf, which neither of them are particularly good at. They also love to play euchre together while sharing negronis and craft beers. That would be enough to earn him a groomsman spot even without the nepotism of being Katie's brother.
