Flight
For a more direct travel plan we recommend flying into the Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) as it is the closest airport offering direct flights from each major airport. The airport is approximately a 3.5 hour drive to the hotel and venue located in Camden. If flying into Boston, please take advantage of the rental car information listed below for discounted rental rates. We encourage guests to reach out to family members and mutual friends to coordinate carpooling if interested. Please contact the couple to inquire about other guests who may have a similar travel plan.
Flight
If you prefer flight time over drive time, please consider the airports Maine has to offer. Bangor International Airport (BGR) with a drive time of 1 hour and 15 minutes to Camden or Portland International Jetport (PWM), with a drive time of approximately 2 hours to Camden. There are no direct flights from major cities near our guests’ locations to these airports, therefore, please adjust for layover times in your travel plans.
Rental Car
Budget Car Rental has created a special 10% discount for our wedding guests to utilize. Our reservation portal lists the Boston airport, but the code will work for reservations made at any Budget location! Discount Code - S456672
Hotel
A small block of discounted rooms has been reserved for guests on both May 10 and May 11 at the reception venue, The Whitehall Inn. Guests can begin to reserve from this block beginning November 1, 2023, with an expiration on March 12, 2024. While guests can still make reservations outside of this period, they will not receive the group rate after the expiration date. To reserve please contact the Inn directly at (207) 236-3391 and provide block name: Caraway/Szucs. NOTE: You may be sent to voicemail due to the hotel’s off season. Please still leave a message with your name, number and our block name and they will get back to you about your reservation within a few days. If you don’t receive a response within a few days, please reach out to the couple. If you are unable to reserve a room at The Whitehall Inn or you find it does not have accommodations suitable to the needs of your group, please consider some of the options listed in the section below.
Hotel
With a large variety of room accommodations, this economically friendly family-owned hotel is a short 3 minute walk to the ceremony site. Unfortunately, the Camden Riverhouse Hotel does not offer room blocks, so we encourage our guests to book as soon as their travel plans if you would prefer to stay at the Camden Riverhouse Hotel. Lord Camden Inn, 16 Bay View, and Camden Windward House are just a few of the additional hotel accommodations within a 3 minute walking distance to the ceremony site.
