Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! In order to fly, your passport needs to be valid for 6 months post return. Check the expiration date. If it expires before August 1st 2022 you'll have to renew!

What should I pack?

Answer

Sun screen & bug spray are highly advised to purchase before arrival as these items are quite expensive in Costa Rica (the locals don't use either, but jack up prices for gringos like us!) Also, if you plan on visiting the rain forest/cloud forest it can be very humid and wet. Raincoats are highly recommended.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Driving is not recommended for unfamiliar travelers. Rebecca will arrange for travel to/from the airport upon booking your room. Should you choose your own means of travel, be careful as some agencies may charge hidden fees.

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

Do I need a Negative Covid Test to Fly?

Answer

Yes. As of 12/30/21 you will need to produce a negative covid test in order to fly BACK to the United States. Tests can be scheduled on site, off site, or you can bring your own FDA approved test to complete via video call. *Expect to wear a mask whenever indoors throughout the country.*
