Or perhaps we're terrible at keeping secrets. It seems like pretty much everyone knows at this point that we unexpectedly got married at a moments notice so that Jill could retire & Brett would qualify for her benefits if she should die first (aww how romantic! gag!). Neither one of us had any reservations at that time & a year later, we're both happy with our decision. We had intended to keep it a secret so that no one would feel left out (because we left everyone out), but we're terrible at keeping secrets when we're so excited to be together. That being said, we would still like to celebrate with our family & friends the way that we had intended. We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us in Iceland for that celebration.
