This is a hike about a 15 minute drive from anywhere in Anchorage. It is welcoming to all skill levels, and on a sunny day provides a beautiful view of Anchorage, Cook Inlet, Mount Susitna, and the Alaska Range
Just like Flatop, welcoming to all skill Levels, and can you see just about the same views as Flattop just from a different angle. And get a little more into the wilderness
Get out of Anchorage and enjoy the Nordic Spa in Girdwoood, AK. It is about a 30-40 Minute Drive South of Anchorage, located in the most northern rain forest in the country. Elizabeth and Brett both TrueType enjoy this outing and is completely rejuvenating.
We are a little bias towards this one, Brett’s work. Experience Alaska from the air for a quick flight seeing tour, mountain or glacier tour. Right next to Anchorage International Airport, and the biggest sea plane base in the world. If you don’t want to fly, then you can also walk around. At the same place, The Alaska Aviation museum is also a great option.
Brett and Elizabeth have both done their snowmobile tours in the winter, but in the summer they offer glacier jet ski tours in Prince William Sound.
