Question

What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear midi/tea length gowns, dressy jumpsuits or floor length maxi dresses, suits with or without a tie.. When considering shoe options, please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside on a grass lawn. As per tradition, please avoid wearing white. While our wedding is in October, we encourage you to dress with colorful Palm Springs in mind. Want some attire ideas? We highly encourage you to take a look at our Pinterest Board. Question

Can I Bring A Date?

Answer

To ensure we keep within the alotted number of guests that our venue allows, if your formal invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Please note we will be mailing out formal invitations this Summer.

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making sitter arrangements ahead of time so that you can have the night off to celebrate with us.

Question

Do You Have A Room Block?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at the Hyatt in Downtown Palm Springs. They have a complementary shuttle service that will bring guests to and from the Palm Springs Airport and our wedding venue, Spencer's. Please see the "Travel" tab at the top of our website for the room block link. Rooms are limited, so we encourage you to book ASAP!

Question

When Should I Arrive At The Ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue at 4:30pm. Welcome drinks will be provided. Please note that the ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm.

Question

How Do I Get To The Venue From My Hotel?

Answer

Palm Springs is a pretty small city and with the warm weather, we recommend taking a short Uber/Lyft ride. If you are staying at the Hyatt with our room block, there is also a shuttle service to the venue. Please check with the front desk to schedule this.

Question

What Is The Weather Like In Palm Springs?

Answer

Due to its desert location, Palm Springs is very warm during the day--and then the temperature drops at night. Late October weather is typically in the 80s by day and the 60s and during the evening. We encourage you to pack a sweater, a swimsuit and enjoy the sunshine during your stay!

Question

Can I Take Photos And Post Them On Social Media?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony! This means we ask our guests to refrain from having your cell phone or other electronic devices out during the ceremony. We want you to be present in the moment with us, and let our photographers work their magic! After the ceremony, we invite you to take and post as many photos as you'd like!

Question

Are There Other Wedding Events I Can Attend?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Schedule" tab. There will be an optional welcome event on Friday and a brunch on Sunday. We would love to see you there!

Question

Do You Have COVID-19 Protocols In Place?

Answer

We ask that all guests regardless of vaccination status please take an at home COVID-19 test before attending our wedding events. If you have tested positive within 1 week of the wedding, we kindly ask that you remain at home. This request is made with the utmost care for our guests who are extremely immunocompromised and appreciate your understanding & care. Additionally, some restaurants in Palm Springs require proof of vaccination for dining. We recommend bringing your vaccine card with you to California.

Question

What Should I Do If I Cannot Attend?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. A formal RSVP tool will be made available on our website once invitations have been sent. If you have received a Save the Date and know that you will be unable to attend, please feel free to let the Bride or Groom know.

Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

The sooner the better! Please RSVP no later than September 1st, 2022.
