Ameck and I met through our mutual friend Ayuk while she was doing rotations In Atlanta Ga, and we bonded so well almost immediately. For the short time she spent in Georgia we had an amazing time exploring the city and working out together. Ameck is my go-to person when I need a listening ear and words of encouragement. Ameck has been nothing short of a blessing to me through these years and I am very happy to be there for her and support her on her big day

Ameck and I officially met at my late father in law’s funeral. While it was a difficult moment for everyone, however meeting Ameck was a lifetime blessing for me. Her beautiful personality blew me away and I was honored to have her as one of my bridesmaids at my wedding. I am an occupational therapist, I have been working at a large hospital in Fresno, CA where I met my now husband, Felix. We recently decided to leave our jobs and live in our van for 2 years before settling down and having a family (place TBD). I was captivated by and loved Ameck from the moment I met her, she has been the sweetest and most genuine addition to our family, and I am so beyond excited to support her and my brother on their big day.

My name is Gabriel Mandujano. I am married to my wife Muneca and we have two children together. I grew up in Boerne, TX and graduated from Boerne High school with Brett. Brett and I didn’t get super close until after high school and then his family basically adopted me, and he became my brother for life! Congrats brother!

Brett and I go back a long time—he’s my older cousin. We’ve spent holidays together, wrestled together, hunted together, played poker together and done a thousand other things in between. I love Brett and am so proud to see him at this point in his life.

My name is Merrit Luevano. My family moved to Boerne right before I started elementary school. A few years later, the Burns moved in across the street from us. My brother Michael and I quickly became friends with Brett and his brother Paul. For years to come, we were running across the street after school to hang out. We had a number of favorite things to do from playing video games, basketball, watching Dragon Ball Z, to a made up game called team tag. Now that we're adults, we still play video games online together. We've been friends for over 20 years now, and there are many more years of friendship to come.

It’s been about 7 years since she introduced us to Brett, and I thought he was a respectful bright young man to have attracted my picky lil sister. Throughout this time, their relationship faced some challenges, but their faith in God saw them through. This moment is a testimony to God's faithfulness to them and us as one big family. Ameck our lil girl is getting married… Oh, what a thought, 😳😩 what a feeling. 🥳. Brett’s family has been sooo loving and accepting of Ameck and the entire family and we are grateful for that. Brett and I grew up hanging out with our neighborhood friends and annoying each other, not sure which we did more. As we both got older, I have realized the man of God that Brett is and have both respect and admiration for his nonjudgmental and joyful nature.
