We're getting married!

In June 2024, fate decided to make absolutely sure we met—matching us simultaneously on not one, but two dating apps (Brenton was the first to notice, which he will proudly remind you of). We met the very next evening at Mexican restaurant and after many hours of talking over nachos, margaritas, and way too many laughs, we knew something special had sparked, so we planned our second date for the very next day. What we didn’t know then was that after that second date, we each separately told our friends and family the same thing: “I’m 99% sure I just met my person.” That night, Brenton looked at Ali and bravely said, “I know you’re the one” and Ali lit up and said, “No way! I just told my best friend the same thing this morning!” And just like that, we became Second Date Soulmates©. We’d both waited a long time to find each other, so we didn’t waste a second. Things moved fast (in the best way): we quickly met each other's families and friends across California and Ohio, traveled together to Catalina Island and Hawaii, moved in together, drove deep into Formula 1 mania, and effortlessly wove our lives together. Ali’s pup, Finley, took a little longer to warm up to Brenton (approximately three weeks, 47 belly rubs, and many cheese bribes later, he was officially accepted). We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our love story—and our wedding!—with all of you in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where there will be sunshine, beaches, margaritas, and all the merriment our hearts (and dance moves) can handle.
