A few notes about travel logistics. There are three airports that serve the Washington, DC area: DCA, IAD, and BWI, while excellent flights can be found to all three airports be aware that IAD and BWI are about 30 miles outside DC proper and the additional travel in can offset cost savings.
We do not have hotel blocks set up, but below are some fun hotels for different budgetary needs.
DC also has a robust AirBnB economy, and it may be both more economical and more comfortable to rent a house, especially if you are traveling with family.
The wedding is in Georgetown which is the more western part of the city, but the city is reasonably small and quite navigable so if you find the perfect location in Arlington/Alexandria or down by the Warf, you're not too far at all!
