Big hits are the African American Museum, the Air and Space Museum, and the National Gallery of Art.
If you're looking to play a round of golf, hard to say no to the location and sights!
Even if you went in their old location, the new museum is worth another visit!
This is an immersive art gallery where you can enter and interact with the exhibits.
Take in the sights of the Washington Monument, MLK Monument, JFK Monument, and the Jefferson Memorial while boating around the Tidal Basin.
Take in some views and some libations atop the infamous and beautiful Water Gate Hotel. Views of Roslyn, VA, Georgetown and the Potomac. Great at sunset!
You're joining us Saturday evening at Dumbarton House. But you can also explore the larger museum just a few blocks away, along with their beautiful gardens and fantastic art collection.
This museum is REMARKABLE. It is a-ways outside the District and requires a car. (They also require reservations.) That said, it is free!
Tour the nation's Capitol Building. Reservations are not required but can be a helpful time-saver. Regardless, be sure to verify that they are running tours at the time you'd like to go.
Because pandas :)
This is a remarkable sight.
You can't go wrong walking the National Mall: the Lincoln Memorial, Tidal Basin, Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial, WWII Memorial, Washington Monument, and bonus points if you can find the District of Columbia War Memorial. It can be a long walk -- bring a bottle of water and some cash in case you want to get some cold water from a stand or seller along the way.
