Do I need my passport?

Yes! Please make sure you have a passport that is not set to expire within 6 months of March 2025.

Is airport transportation included?

Answer

All guests who booked their hotel accommodations through Palm Tree Travel under the Holst/Goldsmith Wedding Group are eligible for complimentary arrival and departure shuttle services provided by AMSTAR. Arrival Instructions: Upon arrival at the airport, please follow the exit signs and look for the AMSTAR representatives, who will be wearing signature blue floral shirts. They will greet you outside the terminal, assist with check-in, and direct you to your transfer vehicle. If you are unable to locate the AMSTAR representative, please contact the AMSTAR office at +52-322-209-1011 for assistance. In the event your luggage is delayed, please send one member of your party outside to notify the AMSTAR representative, or call the AMSTAR office at +52-322-209-1011. Departure Instructions: Guests are required to meet with the AMSTAR representative wearing the signature blue floral shirt within 24 hours of their arrival to reconfirm your return transfer and receive your pick-up time and hotel location to meet. If you are unable to locate the representative at the hotel, please contact the AMSTAR office (+52-322-209-1011) during business hours to confirm your return transportation. Please ensure you are checked out of your room and at your designated hotel pick-up location at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time. If you cannot locate your driver, please call the AMSTAR office immediately at +52-322-209-1011. Additional Assistance: For any questions regarding airport transportation, please reach out to Lindsay Bideaux at Palm Tree Travel at (402) 615-2424. Note: Guests who booked their hotel accommodations outside of Palm Tree Travel are responsible for arranging their own airport transportation. We recommend taking a taxi, Uber, or arranging a shuttle service prior to arrival as the hotel is quick 15 minutes from the airport.

Are children invited?

Answer

Outside of immediate family, we are asking that our guests do not bring their children. We hope you take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate with us in style in beautiful Puerto Vallarta!

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Dressy Causal or Beach chic: Anything you would wear to a nice restaurant on a summer night is appropriate. Linen pants, dress pants, khakis, dress shirt, summer suit with linen shirt, summer dress, jumpsuit, cocktail dress, etc.

Should we bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

While your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, we are requesting that guests don't bring physical gifts to the wedding (outside of cards) due to travel constraints/ease of traveling. If you'd like to honor us with a gift, please check out our registry on our wedding website.

Should I bring money to tip?

Answer

Although tipping is not expected, at most all-inclusive resorts it is definitely appreciated and will get you better service especially when at the pool and beach. It's recommended that guests bring cash in smaller bills for tips.

Does Dreams and Secrets have a dress code?

Answer

Dreams and Secrets have a relaxed dress code, however, some of their restaurants may require men to be wearing pants and closed toes shoes. We recommend that men pack at least one pair of each so that they can dine at all the resort restaurants.

I haven't received my travel documents yet, what should I do?

Answer

All guests who booked with Lindsay through Palm Tree Travel should have received their final travel documents which include accommodation and travel information. If you haven't received your documents yet, please reach out to Lindsay directly @ (402) 615-2424.

Can we use our phones to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have an experienced photographer capturing our day so we kindly request an unplugged ceremony. We will happily share our professional images with you after the wedding. During the reception, feel free to take photos and share them with us!

What does the all inclusive rate include?

Do I have to stay at the recommended resorts?

Answer

We highly recommend! Due to the resorts being secured and not open to the public, those who do not have room reservations at Dreams Vallarta Bay or Secrets Vallarta Bay would not have access. For those that are not staying on the resort, you will be subject to a fee to come on to the resort for the wedding. We chose this resort and love that it is all-inclusive with extensive amenities to make this a meaningful stay for everyone.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to share our special day with as many people as possible, but due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless otherwise stated on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

December 6, 2024! Please don't wait until the last minute to book your room as the resort strongly suggests you book your accommodations as early as possible, as all rooms are subject to availability.
