Black tie optional. We encourage you to dress your best (think cocktail hour attire) but this dress code gives you the flexibility to wear formal attire that makes you feel comfortable. We don't expect everyone to go out and buy a new suit. In fact, please don't! For some ideas/reference: Men: Slacks and a dress shirt Women: Dresses, skirts, dress pants/shirt Please stay away from white/white based dresses and clothing
Bridesmaids will be in champagne colored dresses and the groomsmen will be in tan suits. The groom is in a blue suit.
There will be! Our dinner will be buffet-style and includes options that are both dairy and gluten-free. Our dessert truck will also offer yummy dairy and gluten-free options!
Your kids are invited if your envelope is addressed as "The ___ Family". Please know we would love to have your children at our wedding, but we would also love for this to be a great "parent's night out" and we encourage you to use our wedding as an excuse to get a babysitter!
Yes, the venue is all one-floor (minus the bridal suite) so it is accommodating to every one of our guests. There is handicap parking as well.
We will have a shuttle going to and from Black Bear Casino and other hotels in Duluth 3x: 9 PM 10 PM 11 PM
We will have select champagne, beer and mixed drinks that will be on us for a select time. Please bring cash / card for the bar!
Last call is at 11:00 PM. All guests are asked to arrange rides by 11:15 PM. Please note, if you do have one too many and need to leave your car at the venue, it must be picked up and removed from the parking lot by 9AM the next morning.
There is no smoking inside or on the outdoor patio. There will be a smoking area by the parking lot.
Ivy Black has a huge parking lot to accommodate every guest! You can park your car and keep it overnight. It must be out by 9AM the next morning.
