Most would say the way we met was completely out of the norm (and maybe an HR violation..? Just kidding... we checked the employee handbook) As you may have caught on, yes, we met through work. However, our love story truly started at a little dive bar. We found ourselves posted up at the bar, chatting about our life story, dogs, and family. We can't say we know who was all with us, because to be honest, we didn't care. We spent hours fully engulfed in our conversation, not noticing any others around us. To continue the night, Brent bet Sophie a game of darts. He said, "The loser has to walk the other's dog." Although Sophie is more competitive, it is the best bet she has ever lost!

Some may call us "dog crazy" but our two furry companions were one of the reasons we bonded so quickly, and we will never stop talking about them, taking photos of them and spending every waking minute bowing down to them! Once families of two, has turned to a family of four who loves evening walks to enjoy the peace of Des Moines as the sun sets. It was a typical night for them, as they made their way to the park. Nights like these have always been their favorite. It's a time to enjoy conversation together as the pups run around. It was the most beautiful, private moment with both Raymond and Koda by their side as Brent dropped to one knee. And now their love story continues!
