Let's Get Ready To Russell

If you know Brennan (Rusty) and Danielle, then you know that they share a love for water sports and just being around water. Danielle has spent her summers at her cottage in Sister Lakes, Michigan. Rusty also spent a good portion of his summers at Sister Lakes two doors down at Matt Bachler’s (the best man) cottage. Although Rusty and Danielle saw each other here and there things didn’t officially kick off until years later when they went on a snowboarding trip in Michigan, staying at the Leland’s lake house. After a fun weekend of hanging and one too many fireball shots, Danielle decided to message Rusty as he headed back to Pennsylvania to finish his Junior year of college at Mercyhurst University. After months of talking, Rusty came home for the summer and they decided to go on their first date. That first summer was full of Michigan weekends, nights out, and of course, lots of ice cream. When summer ended, Rusty had to head back to Mercyhurst to complete his senior year, the determined couple knew that the long distance apart was going to be hard but they knew they could do it! Rusty and Danielle visited each other as often as possible and made the most out of the time they spent together. Finally, Rusty graduated and the long distance was over!! A few months later, Rusty and Danielle started looking for an apartment to rent. They looked at one apartment and knew it was the perfect one for them. After sharing the apartment for a year, the happy couple decided to buy their first place together. Brennan's and Danielle's love for each other and their new home grew even bigger when they brought home their beautiful Goldendoodle, Sanibel. A few months later, while Danielle was surfing on Big Crooked Lake, Rusty was on the boat and dropped to one knee and proposed to his future wife and the rest is history!
