Logan and Brenna met at a mutual friend’s summer BBQ on a super hot and sunny day. Everyone at the barbecue came to play a good old game of Slip ‘N Slide kickball to cool off and enjoy the perfect summer day. They chatted in lines and in the outfield and Logan made Brenna laugh frequently which he still has a way of doing effortlessly today. Brenna and Logan parted ways after the party but when they saw each other again at Uncle Joes Sports Bar in Ithaca, they again talked and enjoyed one another’s company. After that, they had their first date at Purity Ice Cream for milkshakes (Brenna was nervous for a proper dinner date and that seemed like a little less pressure being more casual). They talked and got to know each other and have been inseparable since. That date was November 17th 2019 and Logan officially asked Brenna to be his Girlfriend a few weeks later on New Years Eve.

Monday October 31st, 2022 Halloween. Brenna Had just finished doing Logan’s daughter Alivia’s makeup for her costume to trick-or-treat in and gotten herself ready for the evening. They planned to take Alivia around to the houses in Fall Creek and were almost ready to leave when Logan announced he had one more Halloween surprise for Brenna and she needed to sit on the couch and close her eyes. Logan went downstairs and when he came up he grabbed Brenna’s hands and she heard a thump noise on the ground so she opened her eyes. What Brenna saw was Logan down on one knee with the biggest smile on his face and holding out an open ring box in front of her. Logan simply and sweetly said “Will you marry me?” And Brenna remarks that “it was the most special moment of my life, so simple perfect and completely us!”. Alivia was recording the moment and was just as excited as Brenna was when she said yes. After Logan placed the ring on Brenna’s finger, they embraced and enjoyed the moment before Brenna called her loved ones to share the news. As a family, Brenna Logan and Alivia went trick-or-treating in fall creek and while Alivia continued going to more houses with her younger sister and family, Brenna and Logan shared a beautiful dinner at Mahogany Grill in Ithaca as a newly engaged couple. It was a perfect night!
