Please RSVP by March 15th, 2026 so that we can get everything set for you and have an accurate headcount!
We're glad you asked and we're so excited to share! A handfasting is a centuries old Irish tradition that honors the unity and binding of two lives through the binding of hands with ribbons! The ceremony itself entails acknowledgement, blessing, and reiteration of the marriage vows already made by Brenna and Dylan, and celebrates part of their heritage at the same time!
Yet another great question! Come April, we will have already been legally and sacramentally married for a wonderful 6 months! As a means of celebrating this milestone and commitment with our extended family and friends, we chose to physically honor the love and values we hold in our marriage through a ceremony rooted in culture and heritage. The interactive experience is sure to be nothing short of joyful for all of us, and we can't wait to share it with you!
The dress code is semi formal.

As much as we love little ones, both the handfasting and reception will be an age 21+ affair. We so sincerely appreciate your understanding!
We strongly recommend you stay at the onsite hotel- the Appalachian as all events will be taking place on site and there is no shuttle to and from the Quality Inn.
