Sometimes love has a funny way of finding its path — and for Danielle Cochran and Brendon Lord, that path started long before their first date. Danielle, originally from Tennessee, spent several years living and teaching in Florida. While there, she worked alongside a wonderful coworker named Michele — who just happened to be Brendon’s mom. For three years, Michele would tell Danielle that she might just know someone who’d be perfect for her. Meanwhile, Brendon, a Florida native, had moved to Tennessee in 2020, not knowing his future wife would soon be doing the same. When Danielle returned home to Tennessee in 2024, God’s plan — and a very smart mom — finally brought them together. On June 19, 2024, Danielle and Brendon went on their first date, and from that day on, everything just clicked. God’s timing is wonderful. They’ve shared countless adventures since — from vacations and cozy movie nights to exploring the outdoors and enjoying every bit of Tennessee’s beauty together. A year later, on July 19, 2025, Brendon proposed at Twin Falls in Rock Island State Park, surrounded by the peaceful waterfalls and the same kind of natural beauty they both love. It was the easiest “yes” Danielle ever gave. Now, they’re so excited to celebrate their next adventure becoming husband and wife at Montgomery Bell State Park, overlooking the serene waters of Lake Acorn. With their families — who adore them both and have prayed for them constantly— and all their favorite people by their side, Danielle and Brendon can’t wait to start forever together. They feel so incredibly blessed and thankful to God.
