Travel Note
Guests will be responsible for getting to Bellagio from the airport. We anticipate most guests flying into Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) so the below options are for them. We recommend people coordinate transportation together to help share costs. We have found this website very helpful so if you run into any issues or need more information, you can reference it: https://lakecomotravel.com/ OPTION #1: Quickest & Direct from Airport to Bellagio [~1hr 15min] - You can take a cab OR - You can take a shuttle that you can schedule ahead of time. If you opt for a shuttle, you will save money by traveling with a group (~$50-100/person) - https://www.transfeero.com/en/malpensa-international-airport-transfers-mxp/ OPTION #2: Most Economical (Airport to Saronno to Como to Bellagio) [~2.5 - 3hrs] - The most cost-effective way to get to Bellagio will be to take the Malpensa Express. To reach Como from Milan-Malpensa Airport, proceed as follows: Take the Malpensa Express (departing from both terminals) to Milan and get off at Saronno (after about 20 minutes). At Saronno train station, take the train from Milano Cadorna to Como Lago (40 minutes). The price of the trip including both routes is €11.10 (€8 for Malpensa Express and €3.10 for the Saronno–Como route, operated by Trenord). - Once you arrive in Como, you have two options for getting to Bellagio: By Bus (C30 Como-Nesso-Bellagio): This route starts from the city of Como (stops are outside the two main train stations, Como S. Giovanni* and Como Nord Lago) and gets to Bellagio in 70 minutes By Boat: The public boat service is provided by Navigazione Laghi. The service operates all year round. You can buy tickets online on Navigazione Laghi’s website or at the dock. If you buy at the dock, make sure to arrive 20 minutes before departure. Regular boat service: Como - Bellagio: 1h 30 min / 2h Fast boat service: Como - Bellagio: 45 min / 1h
