A beach! Perfect for kids. Dogs are welcome, so you may run into some.

Not just a pharmacy! Great for souvenirs and general island browsing.
Island Center Forest
Great place for running and walking. Make sure to bring your phone or a map in case you get a bit turned around!
Casa Bonita
Ellie's favourite restaurant. The chicken tortilla soup is the best choice.
The Hardware Store Restaurant
A great island restaurant where Ellie's dad used to buy nails when it was still a hardware store. They serve excellent meals all day. Reservations recommended!
Pike Place Market
A Seattle recommendation if you are staying in the city. Lots of flower stalls, local artists, fresh produce, and the famous fish-throwers.
The Seattle Great Wheel
Excellent views of downtown Seattle and the waterfront. We recommend it over the Space Needle in terms of price and convenience.
