SENTRI AND GLOBAL ENTRY Both cards will provide you with access to SENTRI lanes at the border and expedited processing at the border. What’s the difference? SENTRI is tailored for frequent US - Mexico land border crossers, while Global Entry is focused on air travel but also provides benefits at land borders. Vehicle registration: if you plan to drive your personal car to and from Mexico and you hold a SENTRI or global entry card, ensure the vehicle is registered in the SENTRI system. This is mandatory. Passenger Requirement: All passengers in the vehicle must be SENTRI or Global Entry card owners. A passport card does not count. If a non-member is in the car, you cannot use the SENTRI lanes. Uber - can only take an Uber from the US/Mexico border to Villa del Paraiso or hotels to the property. There is no Uber service on the property or in the town of Primo Tapia. Taxi - please call and arrange for a taxi when you are ready to leave the property and return to your hotel. Villa staff can help you contact local taxis.
