Brenda and Alan met during the height of the pandemic. He was quarantined back home in California and she was where she always was, the sweet sanctuary of her bedroom. It was a hot July day, when they both found themselves on their cellphones looking for an inkling of human connection. It was a match! They got to talking and set up a date. It was chaotic to say the least, but it was the perfect kind of chaotic. Alan went on to complete his master's in Indiana while Brenda stayed behind awaiting his return. It was a long six months of constant face time dates and handwritten letters. Alas, Alan returned for the holidays and on December 5th, 2020, they made it official. Over the past five years, Brenda and Alan have had multiple Disney dates, movie outings, shared in their love of musical theater and best of all, travelled. So far, They have been to five states and six countries (one of them being where they got engaged) together.
