Our Rehearsal Dinner is an intimate affair with our Wedding Party BUT we invite our Guests arriving Friday, to join the Bride and Groom for Celebratory Libations at Johnny B's on the Square in "Downtown" Dahlonega. There are several Restaurants for your dining pleasure as well as bars like Spirits Tavern, Johnny B's, Dahlonega Brew Pub and more.
It's a busy weekend in Dahlonega. You may want to make Dinner reservations early in the week for Friday night.

Saturday: Pre-Ceremony
9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The North Georgia Mountains offer many hiking and driving sites while the square in Dahlonega offers unique shopping and on this weekend a bike race. Please take time to enjoy but be aware traffic will be heavy in the area and some streets may be closed. Venue Transportation details will be in your Hotel Welcome Bags but 1st load will be at approximately 4:00 PM and 2nd at 4:45 PM.
As mentioned, there is a bike race in town. Here's a snippet about it: There are two days of two wheeled action taking center stage in Dahlonega, Georgia for the Six Gap Century weekend. Thousands of cyclists will gather in the beautiful historic square of Dahlonega. 2,500 cyclists are expected to make the annual uphill pilgrimage in three noncompetitive rides for the Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty. Test your stamina with more than 11,200 feet of vertical climbing over the 104-mile Six Gap Century course, or try your hand at the 58-mile Three Gap Fifty course. Not quite up to the challenge? Join us for the 35-mile Valley Ride - a great introduction to the Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty!
Ceremony
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Requested Attire: Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. The Ceremony is in a climate Controlled room where the temperature is 68 degrees so cold natured guests may need a sweater or jacket.
Complimentary Valet service is available for those driving. Shuttle Service to and from The Holiday Inn and Comfort Suites is available as well. The Ceremony will take place on the bottom level of the main Vineyard Building. A short flight of stairs at the entrance will take you down to the Welcome area where you can grab a glass of Champagne and then take the elevator or stairs down to the bottom level.
Reception

Cocktail Hour will immediately follow the Ceremony with hors d'oeuvres with complimentary Beer and Local Wines. Spirits are available for purchase. A Plated Dinner is next and our menu offers something for everyone. Local Wines are highlighted. Then put on your Dancing Shoes as our DJ spins some of our favorite tunes!
