Michelle and Scott met in 2015 at Penn State, where Scott was in his senior year of undergrad and Michelle was in her 1st year of grad school. Since Michelle is 3 years older than Scott, we didn't pay much attention to each other and became casual friends. We like to say we were frenemies at Penn State, but little did we know 3 years later in 2018, work would bring us back together in Buffalo, NY. Scott took Michelle to have sushi at Wasabi on Elmwood on their 1st date, knowing that it was one of her favourite foods (our go-to sushi spot!). From that day on, Michelle and Scott started dating long distance flying back and forth from Boston and Buffalo to visit each other. We began sharing and growing our loves for hockey, food, fitness, adventure, and travel. After 2 years of dating, Michelle made the leap to move to Buffalo, NY just in time for the pandemic! During this time, we found our love for skiing and snowboarding, as well as adopting two cats, Esme and Whiskers. We have since travelled all over the US, Canada, and Japan to ski. Our love for travel extended to visiting many parts of Europe including France and Germany. In 2022, Michelle and Scott moved in together with Esme and Whiskers. We would often take walks or bike rides around Elmwood Village and to Delaware Park, finding more hobbies to do together. After saying goodbye to Esme in 2024, we decided to adopt an orange cat and named him Enzo. He has brought a lot of excitement into ours and Whisker's lives. During this time, we continued our love for travel and skiing, visiting more resorts across the US and Canada. After 6 years together, Scott proposed to Michelle on top of Lake Louise Mountain in Alberta, Canada on 2/6/2025. Michelle was completely surprised. Her best friend Lindsey was in on the secret and our good friend Drew was able to beautifully capture the moments you can see on this page! We are beyond excited to celebrate with our friends and family at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, NY on 9/12/2026!
