Make sure you send in your RSVP before heading out for Memorial Day Weekend! Can I bring a plus one or my kids? All guests should be listed on the online RSVP. How do I get to the venue? The venue is beautiful, but a little difficult to get to! We recommend looking at the Travel Tab for more detail and reach out with any questions. Is there parking available? Yes! There is free covered and uncovered parking included with your room. Will transportation be provided? Once you arrive on site, there won't be any need for transportation to any of the wedding events. There are shuttles that operate to explore the town if you don't want to drive. What’s on the menu? There is a plated dinner that will include a chicken, beef, and vegan/gluten-free/dairy-free option. Meal information is available on the RSVP page. Will alcohol be served? There will be an open bar during cocktail hour that will close during dinner, and then reopen for the reception. Where should I eat the rest of the weekend? There are three restaurants on site, Tuques Bar and Grill, Appalachian Kitchen, and The Pizza Slice. There are also many great restaurants, cafes, and other shopping in Snowshoe and the surrounding areas. Check out the Things to Do tab for more info.
What’s the dress code? Is the Wedding Indoors or Outdoors? Shoes? There is not a strict dress code, but we are encouraging Mountain Formal Attire: This event will be a mix of indoor and outdoor. Think cocktail style with a relaxed, outdoor twist. Dressy yet comfortable, with seasonal fabrics and footwear suited for the setting, you'll want to avoid narrow heels! Most importantly, we’re just happy you’re joining us and look forward to celebrating with you in whatever attire you feel your best in. What is the weather? We can't predict the weather, but expect it to be somewhere in the mid 50s-low 70s. We recommend bringing a light jacket just in case it's a little chilly. What is there to do nearby? We included all our favorite hikes, fun, and activities on the Things To Do Tab. The best part about visiting Wild and Wonderful West Virginia is that there is something for everyone to do! If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to reach out!
