The day of the wedding is going to go by SO fast! We want to be able to see everyone and thank them for coming, so we invite you to come the evening before to meet and greet the Bride and Groom before the big day. We will have an Illegal Pete’s burrito bar and beverages . Drop in when you arrive or after you check-in to your hotel to say “hello." IMPORTANT: This is also a time where you can pick up your wedding tickets and area map to the festival! You NEED a ticket to enter the festival and our private wedding reception area. If you don't get them this night, we will have wedding party helpers at the front entrance the day of the wedding handing out tickets and maps.
10:00 am - 6:30 pm
650 Perry Park Ave, Larkspur, CO 80118 You will have access to the entire festival the whole day! All guests are required to enter through the main Castle entrance. Doors open promptly at 10 am (get there early if you'd like to hear the King's Address!) and close approximately at 6:30 pm There is no reserved parking for wedding guests, but we are working on arranging a shuttle (details to follow). This is an outdoor venue on the side of a mountain. This venue is RAIN or SHINE! The show WILL go on in inclement weather and will not dampen our spirits! (more on the venue in our FAQ page)
11:00 am - 11:45 am

The ceremony will begin right at 11 am. The King’s Bagpiper will lead the Bridal Procession to Canterbury Chapel from the Royal Gardens. The chapel is within the festival grounds (maps will be provided to you or are available online or at the main entrance). Please allow PLENTY of time to park and get to the chapel before the ceremony begins. ** To note, the chapel will be for wedding guests only, but it is still visible to the public and there may be joyful cheers or funny comments from the outside crowd. Laugh, have fun! This is a day of celebration and merriment!
12:00 pm - 3:30 pm
From the ceremony we will make our way to the Royal Gardens. This portion of the venue is also exclusive to the wedding party and you must have a wedding ticket with you to enter the gardens. There will be an endless buffet of classic renaissance fair food (with options for our vegetarians) from start until 3:30 pm, so you are welcome to come and go as you please and grab food whenever you feel hungry. We will have kegs of beer and hard cider, with non-alcoholic lemonade, tea, and water as refreshments. The venue is open cup, so you are welcome to walk around the festival with your drinks.
1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
A knighting ceremony of the couple by King Henry and a blessing from Queen Anne will take place at TBD
2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
While the jousting tournament will happen all throughout the day, the bride and groom get a special honors and castle seating by King Henry & Queen Anne at the 2:30pm joust! There is both stadium seating as well as grass seating. Get there early for good seats, it's a great show!
